Ryan's Too Many Recitals in One Week

The week before school ended Ryan was in 3 recitals, all in a row.

Here he is singing a duet in the Coyote Corral Concert.

 Singing with the group.

Here we are the next night singing at Bilingual Night.

Here he is with Ms. Pedelty, the Choir teacher, at the 1st grade performance.

And with Ms. Nanez, his teacher, at the same performance.  This is the performance where Ryan was Mortimer (previous post).

AWANA 2012

For another year Henry and I taught in our AWANA club.  Henry taught Cubbies, for the 4th year in a row.  The other leaders consider Henry the "Cubby Whisperer" because he is so good with this age group.  I taught Ryan's class in Sparks.  This was my 2nd year as a leader.

Ryan Plays Baseball (Little League)

Ryan has always been a baseball kind of kid.  He could hit a ball with a bat at a very young age.  I don't know why Henry and I had not been putting him in baseball consistently.  This spring we enrolled Ryan in Little League Machine Pitch I.  Here are some random pictures from his season.

Don't you love how Ryan is skipping to base?

Last day in Savannah

On our last day in Savannah (we were only there 3 full days since the kids were still in school and I was still working), we spent some more time at the beach.
