Trucks and Trykes

Ryan bought a bike for his birthday with the money he received from his aunt Cheryl. It is a "big boy bike" according to Ryan. He loves it. It is a black and yellow Tonka bike. But Ryan says it is a Bumblebee (from Transformers) bike. He is constantly wanting to go ride his bike. Which in turn, forced Ally to ride her bike. She got a bike with training wheels last August for her birthday. However, her first time taking a ride on it she tipped over. Since then she has refused to ride it. Well, there is nothing like sibling rivalry to force one to ride a bike. Now, I have two kids who are constantly begging me to go bike riding. I love it!Here they are riding their bikes at the park as I walk behind them.

So, that covers the trykes, but what about the trucks part. Well Henry and I have been car shopping for about 4 years. This is not a joke. When Ryan was born we went van shopping, then a year later we were shopping for crossover vehicles, then we were looking for a vehicle to replace my Xterra. Well, the last couple months we started talking about Henry getting a vehicle to replace his 2001 Saturn car. We looked at small SUV's and small trucks. We finally decided on a truck for him and this weekend Henry got his truck! He loves it. Do you know he can answer his phone through his steering wheel and talk without having to connect or pick up anything.
